Crayon Melting Art
This is a super cool project I saw today! You just take old crayons, they can be broken or with no wrapper. Glue them to the top of a canvas, or large piece of paper. You don't have to arrange them in color patterns like the pic above, but this helps to keep the colors from over-blending. A fun project would be to arrange them in different ways and see what happens. After gluing, simply take a hair dryer and heat up the crayons until they start melting. Doesn't it look like fun?! I will have to start saving crayons so I can try this with my niece soon.
